Building Permits & Inspections

The Building Permits and Inspections Department will strive to assist you with your construction project in an efficient and accountable manner. 

The Building Permits and Inspections Department is responsible for:

• New Construction -
  • Issuing building permits
  • Reviewing building plans
• Conducting building / construction related inspections
  • Electrical hook-up (needed for Evergy approval)
  • Septic System approval

To obtain a permit for both residential and or commercial, Please come to Village Council meeting. It is held the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm. All new construction requires approval and building permit.
